The Dorking Judo Club - DJC judo display at Forest Green Fete - June 2003

Lots of juniors turned out for the DJC judo display at Forest Green Fete on Sunday 29th June.
The club managed to put on several displays of judo for the crowds and invited many youngsters onto the mat to give it a try.
There were lots of stalls and displays and the weather stayed fine. Unfortunately a bit too fine, because the mat became rather hot and to save their feet from burning, everyone was forced to put their socks back on !
Peter Leach's Aggrobot was there again. Unfortunately unlike Eastwick Fete on Saturday, there was no hard surface for Aggrobot to run on, so Peter was unable to demonstrate the robots full range of abilities, .. no tug-of-wars this time ! A big thank you to those that did manage to make the fete and make the day a big success.
