The Dorking Judo Club - Surrey Trials April 2003

Henry Dean was the only junior Dorking Judo Club member to enter this year's Surrey trials.
After a long day and several rounds in which he won most of his contests he made it to the semi finals and won a much deserved Bronze in the -38kg.

Jo Murray (Sovereign) who often trains with the seniors on a Thursday night picked up a Gold in the ladies U63.
There were no other entries in her group so she elected to fight in the higher weight group. Although a green belt, she put in a very spirited and determined effort against the dan grade Jodi Parsons from Camberley, who eventually beat her.

Also working hard that day was Harry Randall.
As well as being one of the club's coaches, Harry also helps out at Surrey or Southern Area competitions as a Table Official. jpeg image of Harry at work
