The Dorking Judo Club - Surrey Youth Games June 8th 2002

Dorking JC had 21 members making up the Mole Valley Judo team at the Spectrum Leisure Centre in Guildford on Saturday 8th June.
For some members like Nicola and Eric it was their first ever competition. It takes a lot of courage to take part, but as you can see from the photo, Eric was up for it !
Medals were won by Anna Johnston (Gold), Richard Farley (Silver), Luke Ramsey (silver), Hannah Posner (silver), Molly Crook (Bronze), Carl Pinion (bronze), and Henry Dean (bronze).
The other Mole Valley team members were Peter Leach (manager), Jack Crook, Robert Johnston, Alex & Nicola Cathrow, Eric Overington, Kit Lawlor, Oliver Cannon, Laura Webb, Nicholas Beall, Alex Jones, Thomas & Sam Hopkins, Elliott Taylor, and Daniel Smith. Also helping out as Table Officials were Harry Randal and Kit’s granddad.
DJC member Matthew Tunney also took part, and won a bronze for Reigate & Banstead.
